Dr. Justin McCray

Why I chose pediatric dentistry?

Basketball shaped so much of my childhood, and in an unexpected way, it helped shape my future as well. While in dental school, I coached a team of 3rd and 4th graders in Cleveland, Ohio, and that experience changed me.

I watched these kids walk into the gym unsure and sometimes afraid, then slowly grow in confidence, courage, and belief in themselves.

Week after week, they showed up, tried their best, and trusted me to guide them. Being part of their journey filled me with a deep sense of joy and purpose.

During these moments, I knew that I wanted a career built on those same experiences. Pediatric dentistry became that calling; and each day provides me a moment that takes me back to that young coach in Cleveland, Ohio and I am so grateful to be in this position.

What do I like to do in my free time?

I enjoy going exercising, grilling, and exploring new coffee shops.

Fun fact about me?

I have a mini golden doodle named Juno

Position: Board Certified Pediatric Dentist

Kaley

I am Dr. Chance’s right hand and I absolutely love what I do, especially because of the amazing team I work with. Switching from orthodontics to pediatric dentistry was a great move for me, thanks to Amy who introduced me to Dr. Chance’s office. Working with kids is incredibly rewarding because each day is filled with unique personalities. Whether they’re being goofy, shy, or a bit scared at first, it’s truly heartwarming to see them relax and open up once they realize we’re here to make their dental visits fun and comfortable.

I have worked with kids my whole life—from nannying throughout high school and college to assisting children with disabilities through equine therapy. When I am not managing the office, you can find me spending time outside with my son. I also enjoy trying new foods and going shopping.

I look forward to meeting you when you visit our office!

Peyton

Hello, my name is Peyton. I chose dentistry to make a positive impact on people’s lives. Having undergone extensive dental work myself, I can empathize with my patients and strive to create a warm, welcoming environment for them. My own dentist inspired me to enter this field, and I hope to make the same meaningful impact on others that she had on me.

I believe it is essential to build trust with patients at a young age to set them up for a lifetime of excellent care. Seeing a nervous child leave with a smile is the most rewarding part of my work. Outside of the office, I enjoy arts and crafts and spending time with my loved ones. I recently moved from Orange County, California, and I am excited to begin my new life and career here in Houston.`
